The two parties will jointly develop the high-end bearing market in the UAE and Middle East region, delivering bespoke bearing solutions for local energy transition, infrastructure upgrades, and smart manufacturing projects. This collaboration marks not only a significant milestone for ROOS-LAIS China Factory in deepening its presence within the Belt and Road market, but also a pivotal step in aligning ROOS-LAIS bearing manufacturing with the Middle East's Industry 4.0 strategy.

As a pivotal hub for Middle Eastern industrial transformation, the UAE is vigorously advancing the modernisation of its oil and gas sector, renewable energy development, and smart city upgrades through its ‘Industry 4.0’ strategy. This has generated stringent operational requirements for bearing products, including high-temperature resistance, dustproofing, and exceptional reliability. Industry data indicates that by 2025, the Middle East's bearing and transmission components market will exceed US$4.5 billion. Within this, the UAE's demand for high-end bearings in sectors such as wind power, port machinery, and rail transport is growing at an annual rate exceeding 10%, making it a strategic battleground for global bearing manufacturers.

The recognition secured by ROOS-LAIS Bearings' Chinese factory from its UAE partners stems fundamentally from the brand's robust technical capabilities and product adaptability. Tailored for the UAE's high-temperature, dust-laden environment, the Chinese factory has developed bespoke sealed structures and wear-resistant coated bearings. These products ensure long-term, stable operation in critical local applications including oil and gas extraction equipment, photovoltaic power station gearboxes, and Dubai port crane machinery. Concurrently, the brand's comprehensive full-lifecycle service system—encompassing localised technical support, rapid spare parts response, and equipment maintenance services—perfectly aligns with UAE requirements for supply chain security and efficient service delivery.

At the signing ceremony, the ROOS-LAIS brand representative stated that this collaboration transcends a mere product supply agreement, marking the commencement of a joint venture to establish a localised high-end bearing service ecosystem in the Middle East. Moving forward, ROOS-LAIS will leverage the logistical and trade advantages of the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the UAE to establish regional warehousing centres and technical service stations, enabling rapid localised product delivery. Concurrently, it will collaborate with UAE partners on technological R&D to develop customised bearing solutions for emerging Middle Eastern sectors such as renewable energy and rail transport, thereby supporting the UAE's industrial component supply chain upgrade.

The UAE partner also holds high expectations for this collaboration. Their Chief Procurement Officer noted that ROOS-LAIS's technological innovation capabilities and cost-performance ratio at its Chinese factory address the Middle East market's supply gap for highly adaptable mid-to-high-end bearings. Building upon this foundation, both parties will progressively expand their collaborative footprint to Gulf nations including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, jointly capitalising on the transformative opportunities presented by the Middle East's energy transition and industrial upgrading.
